We Care

Our crew is always on the lookout for worthwhile, salvageable goods. If it can be fixed up and used again, it doesn't go in the landfill.

Giving Back

On resold items only

This is about the stuff we save from your job, not your job price. When we fix up and resell an item we hauled away, the profit from that sale gets split like this. You pick the charity on your quote.

40% of resale profit
  • 40% of resale profit donatedto a local Black Hills charity you choose on your quote. We plan to give more as we grow.
  • 25% supplies & businesstools, trailer upkeep, and growing what we offer
  • 35% crew & expensespaying the crew, gas, and dump fees
Charities you can pick
Cornerstone Rescue Mission Humane Society of the Black Hills Feeding South Dakota Black Hills Habitat for Humanity

How we sort every load

Every job goes through the same four steps. The dump is the last stop, not the first.

  1. 1

    Check every load

Before anything gets dumped, the crew looks through the whole load for anything worth saving.

For exampleFurniture, tools, bikes, decor, appliances that still run
  2. 2

    Fix it up

Good stuff gets cleaned, tightened up, or repaired so it's ready for a new owner.

For exampleA wobbly table, a dirty dresser, a mower that needs a tune-up
  3. 3

    Resell & give back

We resell it locally, and 40% of the profit goes to the charity you picked on your quote.

For exampleYour old couch helps feed families in Rapid City
  4. 4

    Dump the rest

Whatever can't be saved goes to the Rapid City Landfill, dumped the right way.

Our promise

  • We look through every load before it gets dumped.
  • Anything usable gets a second home in the Black Hills.
  • Once it's on our trailer, we take it from there. Usable items are ours to fix up and resell.
  • Got something you want to keep or give to family? Tell us and we'll set it aside.
